E-commerce Ice Cream, Candy and Chocolate Business

For three generations, this very “sweet” shop has been making ice cream, sweets and candy. The business turned to Rapunzel Creative to promote their hand-crafted chocolate and ice cream products, sold on their e-commerce store, for the Thanksgiving season. The objective: to expand social media reach, attract new followers and grow sales for the holidays.

Our campaign began with a Facebook giveaway which quickly grew engagement to over one thousand entries just a few days. Rapunzel Creative began building custom audiences and remarketing to increase impressions and conversions. To further capture leads, Rapunzel Creative mined new followers for the store’s social media pages.

To promote the contest beyond current followers, we ran social media video ads targeting specific demographics and regions of the country. As a result of the ads, the contest entries increased exponentially at the small cost of a $14 ad spend. The ads also increased page likes by 1500% in just three weeks.

On the day of the contest drawing, the Facebook page had a total of 1,862 entries, 306 new page likes, a total reach of 42,971 and total engagements of 6,276.


RESULTS

For an ad spend budget of only a few hundred dollars, the ads garnered 2,500 video views and 3,000 page visitors, 3,500 page sessions.
