Meet Lynn Gregorski: Founder, President, and Creative Director of Rapunzel Creative Marketing

Lynn Gregorski founded Rapunzel Creative Marketing after decades of experience in marketing and advertising. Her extensive career includes over 20 years working in television network branding, marketing, and production, and managing departments for CNBC Network, Food Network, A&E, and CBS MarketWatch.

Award-winning television producer and marketer

Lynn directed top TV talent including Rachael Ray, Bobby Flay, Jaime Oliver, and Wolfgang Puck in numerous on-air promos; she also created national promotions, affiliate campaigns, network upfronts, print and digital marketing campaigns, worked on ad sales marketing, and was instrumental in Emmy Award-winning video production.

At CNBC, Lynn’s team crafted the positioning line “Profit From It” and doubled the network’s ratings. Through her TV consulting work, she produced commercials that won Emmy and Telly Awards, plus marketing reels and video presentations. She also was the director of affiliate marketing and advertising for CBS MarketWatch radio, TV, and broadband at a time when digital advertising and broadband video were starting. In that role, she helped the network increase distribution, revenue, and ratings for the syndicated television show, radio network, and streaming video channel.

Marketing agency founder

In 2012, Lynn launched Rapunzel Creative, a full-service marketing and advertising agency in northern New Jersey, to provide corporations, nonprofit organizations, and business owners with awareness-building marketing services including strategy, branding, and digital marketing as well as marketing consulting.

“After so many years working in TV, I wanted to make my mark as an independent marketing professional that could offer creative campaigns and fresh thinking about branding for a more varied roster of clients,” said Lynn. “At that time, many small-business owners I met were asking me to help them brand and promote their businesses; they were looking for ways to grow brand awareness and build their market share. I very much enjoy the collaborative process and helping companies grow, so I decided to start my own marketing agency.”

As an independent business owner and agency president and creative director, Lynn enjoys the freedom that comes with working with her team to develop interesting, attention-getting creative work and taking less predictable approaches to clients’ marketing activities.

She is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communication and earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Cornell University Cooperative Extension in 2013.

Why “Rapunzel?”

“I get that question a lot,” said Lynn. She explained that her parents had nicknamed her Rapunzel as a child and as an adult, she identified with the fairy tale heroine’s desire for freedom and her courage and tenacity to break boundaries and forge new paths.

Today, Lynn leads a team of talented professionals to create highly relevant marketing and communication strategies and engaging campaigns. Just as her business continues to evolve in ways she never imagined, Lynn’s experiences inform her process and expand her capacity for helping clients write the next chapter of their story.

Fun facts about Lynn Gregorski

Sure, she leads an award-winning digital marketing agency (she is VERY proud of the numerous awards Rapunzel Creative has won over the years). But did you know she is also an animal lover and advocate (just ask her adorable bichon-Havanese mix, Lily) who puts her passion into action?

  • She founded the nonprofit Halfway Hounds Canine Rescue, named one of the top five shelters in New Jersey by CBS2 New York
  • Lynn co-founded Shelter Our Pets, a New Jersey nonprofit that provides temporary foster care for the pets of victims of domestic violence who are fleeing their abusive situations
  • She has volunteered at several Bergen County, NJ animal shelters and rescue organizations

Lynn is also quite the adventurer and outdoor enthusiast! If she made an adventure video reel, it would include footage from the times she:

  • Paddled the rapids in Costa Rica, where she also walked up a volcano and through a forest
  • Summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in a six-day trek up to the top with only a friend and a guide
  • Walked the Inca Gold Road in Peru
  • Enjoyed the views from the pyramids at Machu Picchu
  • Did a two-week trek in the Himalayan Mountains outside of Katmandu

Closer to home, she loves spending time in Maine near Acadia National Park, where she sails, hikes, bikes, and kayaks with friends (and Lily).

Lynn’s professional affiliations include the New Jersey Ad Club, The New Jersey Tech Council, Rockland Women’s Business Network, Women Connecting Women, Greater Pascack Valley Chamber of Commerce, Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce, and Westwood Chamber of Commerce.
